Our mother loved Scotland. It was her happy place. She loved the people, the breathtaking scenery, blustery weather and the people.
On one of her three visits in the last two years she walked a piece of the West Highland Way, about 13 miles of it. This year, she planned to walk all 96 miles of the scenic trail.
Unfortunately, she won’t get to do this. She passed away this past July after a two-year battle with breast cancer.
We are her three daughters: Christina, KerriAnne and Robin and we are going to walk The West Highland Way for her.
We are The Highland Four because though she may not be with us physically, our mama’s spirit will be with us every step of the way.
